PWM Y cables

Thread Starter
I am about to connect a push/pull setup on my hyper 212+ I am wanting to connect both fans to the same mobo header. I found the following

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=26883

I am looking for something much shorter maybe 1-2 inches long?

Anyone know where to find one?

350mm (12") is the standard size. Just make a loop, use a zip tie, then connect your fans.

there are plenty of shorter ones if you look around. If you want it to be sleeved will cost you more. Jabtech has 3inch ones i know. Coolerguys has them and free shipping on it too i believe.

Bite the bullet. Buy this and be done with it. For $3 including shipping it's a phenomenal buy. I've had mine through 400+ fan changes with no problems at all.

Y-cables made with some of the stuff above all break in short order.

One thing: cut one of the yellow wires or you will have two fans reporting their rpm to the mb, which will think it has one fan spinning at twice the speed.

Get the Gelid ones you can find on FleaBay and you don't have to worry about cutting any wires. It comes with one of the reporting wires already cut out. I've used the Gelid ones on several builds for push/pull and it reads/regulates RPMs perfectly.
