Is it worth it to upgrade?

I have this monitor right now

is worth it to upgrade to 24, 27, 30?

I don't want to spend more than 500, preferrably less than that. I know a good 30" IPS monitor would be epic, but those things cost soo much.

I went from a 22" to a full 1080P 27", and I thought it was good upgrade. I got my samsung for 200 bucks though, which is a relatively good deal for the monitor I got. I would say, if you can find a deal, go for it. If not, just hold out until you can find a deal.

Go for it if you want, but remember. The higher the resolution, the less the performance.

It won't be that much of a deal. But now a days I would think 24inch would be the standard for monitors. 27inch would be the high end. 30inch would practically be a television.

Yes, it's worth it to upgrade to a better quality monitor, sure. You can get an IPS HP ZR24W for that dosh.
