but everyone knew it was going to be like this before they bought it...
why would you buy it if you knew it was going to be crap.

I laughed at this. Neither game sucks. Not by any means.

Alright, you think the game sucks. Cool. I don't care, I'm still buying it along with the Maximum edition of Crysis 1. If you think it sucks, don't buy it, but don't pirate it either. Even better, talk to Crytek. Hell, get with a mod squad or make your own game if you think you can do better. It's called a market economy. Each individual influences the decisions of the companies with their combined purchases.

You don't think it's a suitable sequel? That's what they wanted to put out. Voice your opinion to them by your purchases, or even better, tell them directly. Just because you want Nvidia to make a card with 4 GF100 chips doesn't mean they have to, want to, or feasibly can.

Remember, too, that Crytek is under EA's iron fist, and look at how EA's been busting dev's balls. EA and Ubisoft are probably the biggest problems in the industry right now, increasing DRM to absurd levels while decreasing support for PC.

Crytek owns Crysis and chose to work with EA. Crytek can do what they want. It's just a publishing deal.
