[buy.com] Coolermaster Hyper 212+ - $29.75, shipped

Thread Starter
At buy.com is the cheapest Hyper 212+ (shipped) I can find in America for $28.43 shipped.

Newegg's price for the 212+ is a ripoff, it just topped $49.99, so don't buy it there. Buy it here!

Still doesn't come close to the low $19.99 I can regularly pay for Hyper 212+ in Canada through NCIX though

i bought it off newegg like a month ago when it was 29.99$ with free shipping
seems newegg keeps playing with the prices
im sure they'll lower it again eventually after demands are not met

When they cut free shipping that's probably when demand went down - causing the need to raise the price even more now, up to the point where demand will never come back. Bad move I guess. Seriously I don't know what's with the high prices; the Hyper 212+ at NCIX in Canada regularly goes on sale for $19.99 a pop.

Is this better than the ZeroTherm ZT-10D? It's what I have and it doesn't fit well in my case. . . It's touching the heat sink of my ram and has caused it to pop off once already.

cm hyper 212+ is huge if yours doesn't fit in your case
i doubt this thing will
as for the cooling, it's awesome!!!
before i had a stock cooler on my phenom ii 555 be and i was idling at 40+ at stock clock (3.2ghz at dual core) and load 50+
after i added the cm hyper 212+, my temps dropped to 22 idle 30+ load
then i did some unlocking and overclocking
now at 3.9 ghz tri-core stable around 34-40 idle, 45-49 load

it's a beast!

but IT'S HUGE so dont buy unless you know it'll fit

Got my Hyper 212+ for $20 at NCIX

I would flood the forum with sale threads if I posted every time they had the deal.

I picked up one of these for my brother a while ago for $20 shipped. I wouldn't pay a penny over for this heatsink.
