i just unplug the monitor cable in the back of the gpu 1 and the power supply to it and the pc powered on no screen tho

As soon as i plug that power supply back into the card , the pc wont power on

that happened to me, what beep codes are you getting? usually, that is either 4 things, no power to gpu, bad ram, bad mobo, or bad card. try mixing and matching

Cards were all fine b4 there is power to the gpu,and no beap codes

Can it in no way have any thing to do with the cpu,the reason i say that i was testing linX 20 passes,and then it started.Not wile using linX but after

I just took the top gpu out ,and now im not using the top slot and so far seems to be ok,so could be mobo?

Sounds like a bad PSU or dying PSU.

A bad PSU generally will just shut down because it won't be able to supply the requisite power, there are very few situations I can think of where it is supplying too much power...

I used a old card in the top slot and now thats had it,ive been using my 2x 480s in the 2nd and 3rd slot and all seems to be fine.I did try the 480 in the top slot for a bit but it started playing up,must be the mobo?
