you can overclock ram yes. My overclock on ram, running 7-8-8-24-t2 @ 1600mhz , stock is 8-8-8-24 t2 1600mhz. the rams that 2000mhz can probably do 6-7-6-20 t1 1600mhz, but there 1600 mhz ram wont hit 2000mhz.

Wow I thought I was following Intel pretty well these last few months, but I never even heard of Ivy Bridge. Man do I feel stupid. I just picked up a 2500k, and although I'm happy about my decision; I would have much rather waited. But I guess in the long run I was way overdue for a new system anyway (coming from a Athlon X2 and GTX 260). I'll be keeping a close eye on those Ivy Bridge chips though
