3dmark vantage question

Thread Starter
i recently overclocked my processor to 4ghz and for some reason 3dmark vantage reports my clock speed as 3ghz whenever i compare my results to someone else.. is this just a bug or is something going on with my overclock.. although it reads 4ghz after the test completes.. its just when comparing.

It's just saying the the stock speed of a E8400 which is 3Ghz. Just like a lot of programs read my cpu stock speed of 3.33Ghz which in reality I'm running 4.4Ghz.

Yeah 3DMark doesn't always detect/display your CPU speed correctly. It seems to show some odd values once in a while.
