Why not go read that pdf or webpage that has been popping in every Crysis 2 thread for a change especially the PC vs Console part?

Pretty much, once one person starting screaming console port or it has horrible graphics, etc.... and that everyone should boycott, everyone else starts to jump in. I decided to make my own choice like those who are enjoying the game and I'm glad I bought it!
Right, and you guys aren't on your own bandwagon? Please. Get of your horse and open your eyes. Go boot up Crysis, and look at the options, and play the game. Now boot up Crysis 2, look at the options, and play the game. If you cannot see the obviousness, you're completely blind.

Here, I'll even quote myself,

I don't care if it's a port or not, but everything about the game screams "We sold out to make more money. Oh, and we lied to you guys about it too... oops!"

And yes, I have read those pdfs, and yes, I played the first 2 chapters of the game since my roommate bought it the other day. Linear, dumbed down, too easy, ammo everywhere, retarded AI, etc etc, the list goes on. It's ok at best. not the game it should have been.

Because boycotting a game will definitely make one of the few pc game companies want to make more games for us....sounds like a genius plan.

Get your head out of your ass. The minority (pc gamers) doesn't have the power to dictate to the game developers to whom they develop for. If we piss them off, they move on. The only people losing out by boycotting games are pc gamers.

I could care less about the lack of options because I would usually just put VH in Crysis @ 1024 with my old gpu and play the game, only fiddled with the settings once and never again. Considering how much better this game runs, I don't need to fiddle with them either, so, again it doesn't matter to me
Nice calling me blind if I don't see your point, makes your point that much stronger

Ha, really? I called you blind for not seeing how obvious the console feel of the game was, not blind to seeing my point... again, instead of just jumping on me for saying the game screams port, how about you fully read the post next time?

dx11 rumor is non-sense since the game wasn't coded with those graphics. It's not like you just turn it on and bam you get dx11... I think they would have to design dx11 graphics which is just a hit on profit..

I don't even care if this game ever gets DX11. It looks great without DX11, it does not need DX11. Seriously, the graphics are not bad at all. They look great.

And yes, I have read those pdfs, and yes, I played the first 2 chapters of the game since my roommate bought it the other day. Linear, dumbed down, too easy, ammo everywhere, retarded AI, etc etc, the list goes on. It's ok at best. not the game it should have been.
I played through the majority of the game so far, not just the first 2 chapters to make my decision. Yes, I have noticed the ammo packs, but I find that I'm running out of ammo a lot, so, I think it helps a lot especially at the higher difficulties. The AI is better than Crysis AI, at least they try to melee you, take cover and flank compared to Korean AI. Crysis had more linearity than many realize especially when it came to being in the alien ship, ice levels and the last ship. It's only in the jungle that there was less linearity. Correction, not the game you wanted it to be

BTW, did you even read my post:
"That lie you speak of is subjective as well. I don't believe they lied because the pc seems to have a superior product and the game plays as well as I had hoped. You on the other hand, believe they did, hey, more power to you, you dislike it, cool. It's also cool if you don't want to give them your hard earned cash, no one can force you but you won't be changing any opinions here "

The line between console port and PC game is quite fuzzy in this case. Don't know where people are getting their definite sense that Crysis 2 is a full on port.

Show me the science!

While it does suck if in fact Crytek did dumb down the game for controller usage; you cannot honestly consider it a surprise considering they are a business.

Graphics, playability, port, or not... none of that matters, Crytek LIED, that is all that matters.
You don't even care about about the gameplay? I hope you are aware that this is a game we are discussing, yet you continue to accuse other people of trolling.

Who cares if they lied? People are free to change their minds and go against their word. And even if they knew the facts from the start who cares? Company's lie all the time to get you to buy their product. Politicians lie. Your parents lie. It makes me question how much life experience you have to become so offended at this harmless lie(if indeed Crytek did lie, I don't know).

You did not buy it so you did not lose anything. And stop saying that Crytek let down their PC fanbase, I am part of that fanbase along with many others on this forum, and as you can see the majority of people that bought the game are enjoying it.
