It's up to you really but its so that you can actually get to experience the game. I don't think one hour is enough when you consider the cinematics, etc.... especially with Crysis 2

I don't count loading screens or cinematics as time played, ever. I played an hour of the game itself, maybe a tad longer.

I'm not American but I respect Marines and do not want to offend you. It is just that you were talking about computer game developers lying as if this was politics(and you even brought up Clinton).

I am struggling to find out why you are upset. This is a game. I only want to play it and have fun. Any other philosophies surrounding the game do not matter. It feels as if you are forcing a non issue. Crytek's apparent lie has not affected you as you did not buy the game. And again all companies lie so who cares? As long as you did not lose anything in the process it does not matter. If you lost anything of value you can always sue.

Will do! I will add them to the first post. Also, I'll take a video or two. Been having too much fun playing, though!

I brought up Clinton as an example of principles. He was booted from office for lying, not for getting his rocks off.

And Crytek lying HAS affected me, specifically BECAUSE I didn't buy the game. I had been looking forward to it, but after everything I've seen and experienced with it so far, I feel lied to about how "different" the PC version is. The game doesn't deserve to get $60 from me. It will get $15 when I can find it on sale for that price.

I'm not saying anyone enjoying the game shouldn't be, as I stated before, I enjoy games that others hate for seemingly no reason.

My point in all of this is that the game is not what it should have, or could have, been if Crytek had focused on PC first and foremost.

I maintain my own set of principles, and a company lying about what it would be releasing, goes against those principles, and therefore won't be getting full retail price from me.

I gave it enough of a chance in my opinion. I wasn't expecting the most glorious first hour of any game, but I was at least expecting SOMETHING, either gameplay, or story-wise, that would hook me and get me wanting to play more, and that didn't happen.

And I totally understand, man.

The thing is, if you put aside all of that and just play the game, you will realize that it's really a GREAT experience.
