BTW: I like it too. Hell it's better than Crysis 1. Seems Crytek chose wisely, skimp on the graphics, skimp on the MP, give us an SP worth playing. Kudos, boys.
That's because a lot of people like to talk **** without any experience with it. Really I understand the hatred towards the MP, but the SP is a heck of a lot of fun, and beautiful to look at even on a mid-range system.

It definitely doesn't deserve a lot of the scrutiny that it seems to be getting, but again, people are stupid.

60FPS? That's beyond playable. I average half that and never have any issues hitting anything.

Because that's precisely what they're usually ranting on about. Why else would they not want DX11 but to justify spending a fortune on GPUs?

Oh, and since I know you're going to come back with the same crap, I'ma just stuff a cork right in that noise hole. Valve lies to us every single time they release a game. So why aren't you boycotting them? Obsidian lied to us when they said they were making New Vegas stable. So why aren't you raging at them?

...What's so bad about that?...Okay, let's piece it apart item by item. You'll rage at me otherwise.

Linear: Half Life 2 is as linear as a game can get, yet is considered one of the best PC games ever made. Linear is not necessarily a bad thing, and from what I've played so far, it works in Crysis 2 as well.

Dumbed down: ...My ham-fisted ass dies more often on easy in Crysis 2 than on Hard in HL2. I wouldn't say it's dumbed down at all.

Too Easy: See dumbed Down.

Ammo Everywhere: So? I love it. But maybe that's because I prefer sniper rifles and can only carry 30 rounds or so at a time...idunno...but bullethose thickies will also appreciate it.

Retarded AI: ....Yup. But name me one game that doesn't have derptastic enemies. I can't. Portal did. HL2 did. Every fallout game ever did. BC2 did. MW1 did. MW2 did. GTA IV did.

Derptastic AI is a given.

Not that it stops them from getting the job done...

It's too MP centered for my tastes.

Mid-range? It looks awesome on my rig. Runs pretty good too.

I wouldn't go that far. Every game deserves scrutiny. But I don't think it deserves the ill-placed rage that should be directed at Rockstar for not giving us Grand Theft Horse IV, and at Dice and Activision for stamping out the same cookie-cutter crap every year or so.

I'm sure glad there are some people who can appreciate a game for what it is. The folks that hate on games they've never played based on rumor disgust me. I'm glad to see you've come around, UrbanSmooth.

I've had Crysis Warhead since it launched and I have yet to play the MP. I forgot that there was a MP! What's fun about Warhead is loading up a map with a lot of enemies and using all of the creative ways to take them out, scare them, distract them, etc, etc. Also, the explosions are GREAT!

My opinion of Crysis 2: it sucks balls. I don't really see what is there to be excited about,
the graphics are an inch better than UE3 engine, gameplay = CoD with nanosuits.
It's a step back compared to Crysis 1, where I could blow up buildings with explosive barrells loaded in the truck. Where is destruction ? There is none. You can't even kill infested civilians. It's like bullets just go right though them! WTH is this pile of crap???
Instead of jungle sandbox with amazing graphics what do we get? Another crap graphics with boring linear city block, just like in all the other games. And then you collect some useless dog tags??? WTH?? What am I a 2 year old that I need to collect some ****ty useless achievments, which is just a stupid CoD gimmick.

And if not having graphic settings in the sequel to the best graphic game of all time is not a ***** slap in the face of the entire PC gaming community I don't know what is.

I'm just going to put this in here too because I believe it's one of the factors that makes crysis 2 a really great game...

play it in 720p and turn up the system!

Crysis 2 Checklist:

- Good Storyline - CHECK
- Good soundtrack - CHECK
- Better Multiplay from all the QQ from crysis 1 - CHECK
- Better optimized graphics from all the QQ from crysis 1 - CHECK
- ITS NOT MAKING YOUR SYSTEM SCREAM LIKE CRYSIS 1 - Not Checked

you want to blow **** up sure lets add a bunch of useless barrels in the game that is set in an urban environment where you see barrels of fuel everyday...

If the last one is the only prerequisite that you were looking for in a game then shame on you...
