Problem with my rig. Help please :-(

So I just switched my motherboard (from the Gigabyte P67-UD4 B2 revision to the Asus P8P67 Pro B3 revision). I reformatted my solid state hard drive while keeping my 1TB storage hard drive disconnected. I then fresh installed Windows 7, fresh installed the drivers for the motherboard, etc.

Now I'm having a problem:

I've reconnected the 1TB hard drive, and it is recognized and I can read from it. Everything is formatted as AHCI. Anyways, if I try to read a program off of the 1TB hard drive, it reads slowly... if I try to play a video off of it, it causes a blue screen of death. If I try to transfer a video or large file from it, it causes a blue screen of death.

The odd thing is that this causes my HDMI output to make the screen (including the BIOS screen) have a green tint until the computer is rebooted and goes back into Windows 7. My alternate screen which is using DVI stays normal. At first I thought this was a graphics card problem due to the green tint and it crashing at first from videos... but since it only crashes when I use the hard drive, I figure something weird is going on.

I'm looking for some help. I obviously will have to format this hard drive... but I've got some very important information on it that I can't lose. It's there... but I crash a quarter way into trying to access anything important.

The code for this is:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name:BlueScreen
OS Version:6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID:1033

So an update:

I decided to just go ahead and format the drive. I tried formatting it within Windows, and that caused a bluescreen as well. So I popped in my W7 disc, formatted the 1TB hard drive, and now I'm in Windows 7 and I can't seem to get the hard drive to work.

Could this really be coincidental? I switched motherboards and now the hard drive doesn't work. Before the hard drive worked perfectly (today) up until I switched motherboards. I didn't do anything to the hard drive (wasn't touched at all).
