Overclock 2600K on GA-P67A-B3

Hi,
I have some experiences for Overclocking but overall I'm New to this
A friend of mine recently bought some PC parts ( for video editing mostly ) and asked me to assemble them together. I did. But for Overclocking I wanted help from some Pros.
Here:
CORE i7 2600K + CORSAIR H70 HYDRO COOLING
GIGABYTE GA-P67A-B3
4x4GB CORSAIR DDR3 1600
ZOTAC GEFORCE GTX 580
OCZ VERTEX2 90GB + SEAGATE 1TB 7200RPM
1035 WATT GREEN POWER SUPPLY (MADE IN IRAN. GOOD POWERS INDEED!)

I've used gigabyte's utility for quick overclocking. at 4.2GHz it is stable (I just tested for 21 minutes) and maximum 67 degrees in Celsius. but CPU voltage is 1.02 and I did not change that.
Please help me for overclocking specially on this MB.

Thank you

Start overclocking in bios. Find highest multiplier you can go up before messing with other settings. Then go from there.

There's a few settings you need to enable/disable.

Wait for someone who knows more about SB to respond before going into bios.

the ga-p67a-ud3 b3 board has bad vdrop. so you will have to have a high vcore to compensate the voltage drop! itleast thats how it is for me. and i have the same exact board. if thats the board ur using?

There is a Gigabyte p67 owner's club in the intel motherboard section.

With the GB p67 b3 series the vtt voltage is displayed in cpu-z, the easytune 6 utility or hwinfo32 will display the vcore.

Iv tried to hit 5.0ghz on this board, setting the vcore to 1.460.. and it will drop to 1.380v! so i fail on prime95 with in about 1 min.. even though my temps where only 77c max... the best and stable overclock as of right now and what im sticking to is 4.5ghz.. and what iv done is set the vcore in bios to normal.. and upped my Dynamic Vcore (DVID) +.0010.. witch from what iv found out by doing that. is it helps with vdrop! big time!! .. so with clocking it at 4.50ghz normal cpu vcore of 1.33.. upping my dynamic vcore +.0010. while underload it only would vdrop to 1.30vcore!! its 100%stable with these settings... so it looks like if i wanted to do 5.0ghz id have to up the dynamic vcore a lot to bring my load and idle vcore higher? iv yet to try that one.. im real happy with 4.5 at thoughs settings.. real safe. hope this helps still learning it all

So i guess overclocking with dynamic vcore is a new thing lol. it's worked great for me and i have less vdrop this way.. witch means 100% stable !
