Waterfox 53: 24 April [Firefox 64-Bit] - Page 619

Did a fresh install of Waterfox 33.0.2 from the link above.
Made sure to delete all the files and folder that were still in the Waterfox program folder after I uninstalled WF 33.

Same crash as I had yesterday.

Verified that Firefox 33.0.2 does not crash on the same web page.

Crash happens as a web page is about to complete a progress bar box and then open the next page in their sequence.

33.0.2? My version says its 33.0.3. Is that the problem? Is this not a stable version? Should I go back to .0.2?

I have the latest build 33.02 and after setting webgl.prefer-native-gl to "True" in about:config it at least stops the crashing.

webgl.prefer-native-gl to "True" in about:config is not help for me, 33.0.2 still crash on get.webgl.org but about:support now works

This is a weird little issue you discovered...glad to hear that something was corrected by editing that key, I followed the link you said crashed and it did not crash for me, but it also said that webgl is disabled. In looking for some probable answers...there seems to be a huge list of blacklisted drivers that causes webgl to crash many browsers and there is a three step process that they claim fixes crashes, but it is not recommended. For the sake of testing you can try if you wish...here it is:

How to bypass from this link!

Type about:config in Firefox’s address bar and make the following changes:

To enable WebGL, set webgl.force-enabled to true.
To enable Layers Acceleration, set layers.acceleration.force-enabled to true
To enable Direct2D in Windows Vista/7, set gfx.direct2d.force-enabled to true

Info regarding blacklisted video cards via Mozilla Wiki

i think that changing default values is not right way
also my card and driver not blacklisted (geforce gtx670 drv.344.48)

I must agree on that not being the right way to resolve the issue, but figured I would share all I found. I can't for the life of me find another article regarding 3 fixes for webgl and a java vulnerability that I wanted to ask if was included in this latest version of WF...will continue to hunt. I hope you resolve your issue ultimately.

WebGL is compiled with Direct3D9c SDK(the last, juin2010), the alone in Firefox. If you use WebGL, don't use waterfox, I never see stable when enabled.

why was removed multiprocess?

This feature isn't present in FF33, nightly only, maybe a bug.
