lol, no, it's not that bad. I'd like to see that guy design a game of his own. Crysis 2 looks beautiful, and what's even better is that it runs on our hardware without a hiccup. When Crysis 1 launched I had a 3.2ghz core 2 duo and 8800GTX. On the last level I had to go to 800x600 lowest detail, and it was still choppy. I would much rather have what we have with Crysis 2.Tesselation would be nice, but rarely do you see it implemented without a massive performance hit. I know I won't be using DX11 if a GTX 580 has trouble with it.

I enjoy the Crysis 2 multiplayer much more than Crysis 1 multiplayer.

He's a customer. It's not his job to know how to make a game. That's what he PAYS them for. If your car isn't driving well, does the engineer tell you "oh well, I don't see you making one like that!", etc...

just because it does not have directx11 u guys call it "sub par"? how many dx11 games are out? a handful. some of THOSE are subpar, such as BFBC2.

Most of Crysis 2's problem aren't DX 9 vs. DX 11 issues.

It's sloppy coding or something. The AI is dumber than nails in your forehead. I mean they run right by you and hide behind a wall next to you (even if you are standing out in the open uncloaked)... facing the wall until you come around the corner and blast them.

The physics are horrible. When an enemy flies towards you after you shoot them, there's a problem.

Ridiculously shiny and highlighted outlined taxis are the norm.

Crossfire is unsupported.

Eyefinity has a huge amount of zoom on the side monitors.

I noticed all this within the first 30 minutes of game play. Apparently they don't believe in beta testers over at Crytek.
