I have a friend that tried out solid colored tubing for the first time and he just kept tilting and tilting. When he got big air out he tapped the tubing with a pen.

1 drop of dishsoap will break surface tension and make bleeding a heck of a lot easier, however it's not needed. Try tapping on the radiators as well as the pump (lightly) as well as turning the pump on and off in 5-10 second bursts (just make sure nothing else is connected as in 24pin/8pin...NOTHING)
