This uses the same diode as the wicked laser spyder

1: Am I aloud to sell this laser in an other technology fs thread?
2: Do you think someone on ocn would be interested in it?
3: What do you think its worth?

EDIT:

It is unfortunate that you do not have a video of its construction.

I don't know if it would be best to sell that thing on here or not, granted if you sold it on ebay, you wouldn't know if the person is 18+ either. And personally, I don't see the purpose of having that and wouldn't waste $200. I'd probably just contact an admin and ask them.

Selling can also be riddled with legal issues.

Wicked gets away because they can verify age with the credit card...and they tend to be less than honest about the contents of their packages to customs/post offices.

Not to woried about age restrictions, Ill just ask for a scan or fax of an ID.

BTW 200 is the ebay price, I would be selling it for a good bit less here.
Ebay is going to want about $20 if it sells + I would rather sell it here anyway.

nowadays getting even watts of laser power is cheap easy. So many accidents are happening, so I'd stay very careful if I would sell any potentially danagerous lasers.

If I were you, I'd put some disclosement in your auction, limiting your involvement if anything happens to the buyer for misuse / lack of precautions while handling the pointer. If you have a pair, you might even include safety goggles... who knows if any unwise person buys it and prefers to go without goggles and then getting damage...

If you really want to sell it over ebay, knowing its large audience, put some text telling what dangers that thing brings and disclosing you from any liability in any incident caused by misuse.

If it sells on ebay (or here) I will be contacting the buyer before i ship it and make sure that I feel confortable selling it to them. If they don't seem competent I will refund them.

That's probably a good idea. Have you thought of trying to sell it locally?

1: Am I aloud to sell this laser in an other technology fs thread?
Yes you are allowed to, but beware of legal issues.
2: Do you think someone on ocn would be interested in it?
We'll see...
3: What do you think its worth?
I think its worth around 45 bucks. Its a neat novelty item, but not on par with a 360 you can buy for 200.
