Is it the keyboard or is it me?

I've had an XArmor U9BL (Cherry MX Blue switches) since about 3 months and have noticed an annoying problem. Thing is I don't know if it's me or the keyboard. The other thing is that it doesn't appear to do it all the time. I don't know if that points to the problem being me or the keyboard. Right now I can't even get it to happen, which is obnoxious because I was hoping to type a paragraph of text to illustrate the problem.

Anyway, the problem is that every so often, if I type a letter, it will repeat ittself. Check this out, it just did it in "itself". Instead of "ittself" it may also have typed "itstelf".

I just had an idea and increased the delay before the key starts repeating ittself (did it again) so we'll see if that helps... It seems to happen mostlty (did it again) with the letter T but it did happen with other letters, too.

I'm a pretty fast typist (90-100WPM avg) so I don't know if it's got something to do with that... I could try typing slower for a while to see if it helps, but I feel like I've already tried and the problem was still happening. It's hard to tell if it's me or thet (did it again) keyboard since I type so fast that it all kind of blends in, and I see the error on my screen right away since I'm not watching my fingers.

Anyway... does this make sense to everybody? Did you have a similar experience with the XArmor U9BL or another keyboard with MX Blue switches? Maybe with the Razer Blackwidow since it's made by the same people as my XArmor?

Chattering. Usually caused by a dodgy switch.

Seriously though, is this problem headed for an RMA?

sounds like a first generation u9bl

Stay away from mechanical keyboards = problem solved.

I'd recommend a good Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000.

Yep, chattering. It happened on my Rosewill, and I've read a few reports of it happening on Filco's. Here's to hoping it doesn't happen on my new Leopold.

RMA it if it annoys you. I couldn't stand it.

Buy a brown, owned one for a week now and it's amazing. Das FtW. My bro has a Filco Brown, it's good too. Never had a double repeat problem yet and have heard it happens with people with blues before this too.
