What should I add

The build I'm going to make is going to be around $1500. I figure since I'm going to have to work hard to make the money, it won't matter if I add another $100 to the budget to make it look better. The case is going to be a blue haf 922 so I'm not worried about interior, I want the exterior to look better.

are you re-using some other parts ie: monitor,kb/m ect or complete new build?

Even w/ a decent monitor you can do a dual GPU for that price if you shop around right.

Its going to be my first build so I don't have anything to re-use. I picked 6950 2gb since a motherboard that has CF would cost more

what exactly are u looking for ? like what type ..
SSD is very important for some ppl

vertex 3 (550MB read/ write) would be one of the best , but $300 for 120 Gb
C300 is also there whih is good enough
or also u can go for vertex 2 x 2 raid 0 config whih will cost $220

SSD cost too mcu hfor me. By the time I can afford the build bulldozer will hopefully be out. But I don't think it well be better than 2500k, and if it is i think it will cost more since it's new.

if you keep it 2500k then you have quiet a bit of room to play with to get either a SSD setup or a 2nd GPU (even another 6950)

how do I make it look better? I was thinking of adding MULTIMEDIA STATION BASIC INT IR RCVR/RMTE;3.5 DB for 30$ since I watch allot of movies. Can it power on the whole computer from the remote?
