Hi guys I'm going to buy a Radeon MSI r6970 this week, but I'm wondering if my cpu will bottleneck my GPU.

Rig:

Cpu q9300 quadcore @ 2,5 Ghz

Ax750 corsair psu

It's a quad core, I don't think it will. But I'm not sure, I don't have much experience with those chips that have low stock clocks.

My motherboard won't let me, it's a standard acer board.

Just fired up P95 Blend, it's 1.259/1.260v on load.

Also, OP. You should be fine. It's a quad core so there won't be much bottlenecking. At most you'll be missing out on maybe 20-30% performance, tops.
