Will my cpu bottleneck my GPU? - Page 2

it probably will in some games, not so much in others. What's weird is the relationship people think that cpu and gpus have in regards to bottlnecking.

Each has a fps min, max and avg based on the game and settings used. One or the other is always going to be a "bottleneck" at least as far as bemchmarks go. My suggestion, give the new gpu a try, if the games you play dont perfrom as you would like then you probably need to upgrade the cpu side of things

Also, OP. You should be fine. It's a quad core so there won't be much bottlenecking. At most you'll be missing out on maybe 20-30% performance, tops.
