I haz the sabertooth X58 and the i7 950. Its a great $400 combo, I am never CPU bottlenecked, and the mobo is said to be a better OC'er than the Maximus series from ASUS. The board looks much better than the images in real life. Overall I would never return all of this for an i5 2500k and a P67 mobo.

The sandy bridge platform is a little bit newer tech but with greater PCI bandwidth, tripple channel memory, hyperthreading, and 2mb of more L3 cache I'd go with the 950 over i5 2500k.
