This is true of most mech switches. The difference is that blacks are linear so that the tactility doesn't get in the way of key mashing, and they're stiff so it's hard to accidentally press one. Those are the qualities usually cited for them being good gaming switches.

They are nice to type on, but they get tiring after a while. I prefer Blues over them.
