type /cg_drawfps 1 in console.

Dev's still use WM_MOUSEMOVE because thats the way they received the engine and license from quake or unreal.
I am not too sure about what you are saying.

On BO i get well over 60fps. MWF2 i get the 90 odd fps constant as it is capped.

Well it would be nice if they use a better engine soon then. Something that my mouse would appriciate lol.

And like i said skylit MWF2 does not have these issues that BO does. MWF2 feels smooth and nice.

/com_maxfps will fix that cap.

Is 60 fps an empty map or full game? I mean, I just tested 60 fps in game and it was fine without negative acceleration unlike the source engine (also quake based), although the game itself got really choppy near 30-20fps self capped.

What processor and video card are you running? What resolution screen?

Edit: I've calculated that negative acceleration will occur past 1.8m/s @ 30 fps on a 1920x1080 res.

i have a core i7 at 3.2. geforce gtx 470. game is maxed out at 1920x1080 apart from shadows which causes stuttering when it is turned on.

And skylit these numbers you hit me with are just jargon to me mate lol.

Just confirm this is multiplayer black ops im talking about and not the single player.

That's because BC2 is a console port.

Yeah MP. is Vsync on?

My stock i7 920 and 5850 are undoubtedly slower an yet I'm getting around 170 fps max in certain area of certain maps lol...

I'm guessing they never fixed the GPU hitching with the 400 series cards?

I said MWF2 is smoother but that was testing done on single player at the practice range. I just did a fast game of zombies and single player is so much more smoother than MP. Movement felt responsive. On MP is just doesnt feel as smooth for me. MWF2 runs fine on MP.

I didnt know their was gpu hitching i though it was the game. On single player shadows and shader warming cause me no issues. But on MP they cause stuttering.

And i didnt actually say i was only getting 85fps i just said i didnt bother to remove the cap.

Edit. I turned fraps on and had a round against the bots i forgot the map its a snow one lol. And i was pretty much getting 91 fps constant. So maybe the nvidia cards have issues with BO. 90 fps still should cause me issues with the mouse that much though. MWF2 just feels much smoother for me. Hopefully treyarch sort it out. i havent played BO much for this very reason. Silly i know but thats just me. I cannot play an fps game if i feel as if im not in control of my mouse. It gets to my head constantly and ruins my gaming.

Also when i uncap BO it sets the cap back to 85 when i get into a game. But my fps are at 91 not 85?

And vsync always off.
