One of the best mice ive ever owned.
At its normal price its arguably the best mouse within $30.
At that price its the best mouse money can buy.

Bought one. Then bought the MX5500 Revolution which comes with a same mouse and keyboard. Then I bought another logitech keyboard that uses the unify tech. With the new mx it uses the unify so I can free up a usb slot. Then sell the bundle with keyboard and keep the original one as a back up when the unify one dies, and needs to be charged.

@ PhilWrir - What mice are you comparing this against?

It's only about $8-9 shy of the least expensive BIN option for a new one from an eBay seller.

I thought this had adjustable DPI. What's the 3 LEDs with DPI on them for then?

I think the DPI might be adjustable from the Logitech software, don't quote me on that tho, I used it for my laptop but never adjusted the DPI.

I know the LEDs shows the battery status, not sure about anything else.

Yep. LED only shows battery life. You can configure one of the buttons via the Setpoint software to serve as your two DPI settings.

but mx performance has a wheel less than revolution but, i'd still grab it
perfect for gaming as well as for multimedia control

Incorrect, lights show dpi AND battery life. Hit your dpi hot key and either the back two or front two light up to signify which dpi setting.

Honestly you are not buying this mouse for dpi flexibility. There are better mice. You are getting a good gaming mouse, I would argue the best at $50 considering logitech build quality is light years ahead of Razer junk. You are getting a larger mouse with a thumb shelf that I personally enjoy.

My only caveat to this mouse is I use the back button for push 2 talk and it sticks. Minor annoyance. Hope this helps.

Meh? Waiting for a Roccat Kone +
