2600k oc?

Hi, I've overclocked my 2600k to 4.5ghz with a vcore of 1.32. With the H70 the temps on my hottest core don't pass 78C with IBT and AVX. Is 1.32 vcore safe for daily use? seems a bit high for 4.5ghz or is that just me?

Thanks!

It is a little higher than you usually see, but as long as your temps are stable and you computer is not having any problems then I would say you are within a safe range. Just make sure to run a thorough stress test to ensure that everything is stable.

Thanks for a quick reply omnius, I ran prime Blend for 10 hours without any errors. I'm guessing its stable for the most part. Could it be that it needs a higher vcore because my ram is running at 1866 @ 1.65? even with a 4ghz oc i need 1.17 vcore to be fully stable

After a little tinkering with the H70, I've managed to drop my temps quite well(atleast i think so)

before

after

I still havn't had much luck with dropping the vcore down i'll keep trying. Is there any setting that should be set to manual? I have everything set on auto.
