So whats the best gaming latop for around that price. I like to play DoW, WoW, LoL, BFBC, portal2(when it comes out smile.gif

How long is that Promo code good for?

it came to 822 with discount or 930 with the i7-2720QM

I am not up to date on laptops and deals, but is this one too good to pass up(it sounds amazing), or is it a normal price for the hardware given?

Also, my desktop is my main rig. The laptop would just be to keep my gaming fix at bay. Does this change any recomendations, even the price point?

Its a good price, but you have to look at what you're getting:
HP-most people will avoid them
Low res screen- at 800+ and a dedicated graphics card, 1366x768 is weak
gpu-not the best but sufficient for games at medium/high
warranty sucks- I dont have time to check this again but last time i viewed this deal I thought it said 1 year warranty.

I wouldnt buy it, nor do I recommend hp laptops most of the time.
For 1200 you can get a damn good sager 8130 or a pretty good asus g73, or you can look for cheaper things like the g6x and g5x, used g73s, or msi (which im not fond of either but they are better then hp)

Quality wise for a gaming laptop, sager is king and at a good price, second probably asus (more expensive slightly less quality, but different features)

Well, I'm getting that HP this Thursday, so if you can wait until then. I'll post how I feel about the laptop.
