Corsair A70 Push Pull?

Thread Starter
Alright, so I keep seeing the Corsair A70 in system's some say push/pull some don't.

Is the original configuration a Push/Pull?

Or do you have to switch one of the fans around?

Original configuration is a push/pull with corsair fans.

I'm using Scythe AP14 push, AP15 pull...never did any true comparisons with the stock fans.

Eh, I don't know much about the 1366 socket i7's, but without good TIM and better fans, i doubt it...

Any idea what kind of OC I would be able to get anybody? I'm looking for at least 3.5GHz to 3.7GHz.

Yes. Those i7 9xx's run cooler than 8xx's because 8xx's have more stuff on board. For example, you can have a higher Vtt with your 950, which allows for a higher OC on your cpu with less Vcore, which translates to a cooler temp.

For sure you'll get 3.8, and most likely 4.0.

But be sure you consult some 9xx OCers for how to get the most out of your cpu with the smallest Voltage.
