A refurbished 27" HP monitor (HP 2709m or HP 2710m.. not sure..)

http://sellout.woot.com/
Expires in 24 hours 10:00pm Pacific Time.

It's the same monitor I got back in February!
If Spring quarter wasn't starting tomorrow (books and supplies)
I would totally get this as a third monitor!!!!!

Oh yeah, one more thing. The backlight burns with the fury of a thousand suns if you choose to go with 100% brightness.

It's really nice actually, brightness is similar to the apple monitors.

I use f.lux to control the warmth and brightness of the monitor.
Check that software here: http://stereopsis.com/flux/

It's pretty nice. People complain about its resolution because it's 1920 by 1080 and not 1920 by 1200 but I've never seen one at 1200 in my experience so I don't know what I'm missing.. lol

Another thing:
You can actually remove the stickers at the bottom of the bezel pretty easily with a hairdryer once you get it warm. I think the HP emblem is underneath it. I haven't done it yet, planning to once I'm not feeling lazy..

If you google HP 2709m or HP 2710m it's the exact same monitor.

There is one with 1920x1200, but it is 24".

Yeah, I'm pretty tempted by this. I was going to get another 24", but having a 27" and a 24" (for watching movies on as I game) sounds pretty attractive to me.

The refurb has me a little scared though.
