[Official] The new Folding@home client is here! - Page 32

I am running the new client on my E5700 and GTS450 folding only rig and I love it. My only complaint is a lack of bonus point calculation. Or am i missing it?
would i need to download 2 clients, one for the cpu smp, and one for the gpu, i already downloaded it and installed it, it's folding now but there's only one slot, just device id 00, i have a 965, and a radeon 5770

nope, just use the "beta" tag when you add the ATI gpu in the slot location. Here is the guide

I just set up the new client for smp and it's saying I have a due date over a month away?? is this normal? I never had one this far away with the old SMP client.

I am new to this whole Folding at home thing, i have set it all up using the guides. It is running SMP and GPU slots on the v7 client and has been for the last 24 hours. it has done 3 SMP units of about 8 hours each, just on the last unit it is now showing the PPD which is 1087, which is incredibly low isnt it? (considering my work machine is a x6 1090t, it is taxing the cpu at 100%) The TPF is 4 mins 26, if that means anything. This is for project 11021 with a finish time of 7hrs:30mins.

The ppd on the gtx260 is 6,700 for example which is way higher.. Whats going on here? or is this just a bug? looking at the stats it looks like it is about right as ive done 7400 today (guessing 6400 for gpu and the cpu has contributed 1000ish). At the moment it hardly seems worth taxing the cpu out for such little gain.

I dont think the new v7 shows bonus points yet.
Im not eligible for bonus points yet anyway as ive only started doing SMP and that is the 3 ive done in the last 24hours.. As stated im new lol. I was under the impression that the base PPD should be a lot higher than 1000 odd though? Roughly what ppd should a x6 1090t be getting?

I does on some of the newer WU's but not many. As the new WU's are released they will show bonus points.

ok so i should be looking roughly at 12k ppd. pretty sure i read that about 6k should be the base rate and another 6k as a bonus? i no im not eligible for the bonus, the question is why am i only pulling 1k as the base rate.. seems odd and i cant figure out why
