I'm thinking of buying a couple of 2TB disks for storage. Only candidates are:

Which one would you guys buy?

I would go for the Greens if they are cheaper, I have 2 of them and they are great for storage; don't use them as your primary or main drive though.

I'd get the WD Green or Samsung F4
I run a pair of WD's hard-drives,the transfer speeds are good enough for a storage solution. But in my opinion the Seagate will do the job just fine also, plus it's cheaper so I'd go with that.

The barracuda greens are the newest and the fastest, I was planning on getting one myself. review

(PS To Canadians: NCIX has them for $70 CAD)

that last one you listed is actually a Barracuda LP. Honestly though they're all good drives.

Notice the DATES on that thread? Yeah...that's not a problem anymore.

On topic:
The Samsung F4's are faster green drives.
The WD Green's are good, just not as fast.

Either of those two options are solid choices. I got my WD drives as a gift, so that's why I have them over the Samsungs. I'd say just grab whichever between those two is cheaper.

I'd avoid Seagate though. They have yet to release something that I'd trust (especially with 2TB of space) ever since the 7200.10's.
