Best gaming laptop for 600-650?

Thread Starter
Hello,

I need to get a gaming laptop for a friend of mine his budget is between 600-650. Now all he wants to play is WoW but it would be nice if he could play maybe some source games or some older pc games. Now I know he should be building a desktop but he needs a laptop since he is constantly traveling.

The budget is very very firm so please don't link anything over 700. Also it needs to have a webcam.

Thanks.

Hey mate, for these needs I think a laptop based on Intel SB's integrated graphics would do well. Wow is a game that runs pretty well on the Core i3 2100 @1366x768 (which is pretty much the standard resolution in the under 800$ price range) and with good details.

There may be some laptops that have discrete graphic cards in this price range, but it's unlikely they also have good battery life, while a SB laptop can be fast enough while keeping some mobility.
