Is there a way I can use less fittings? I think 8 is the minimum for me at this point. But even if I add another GTX 590, I won't need more, as far as I can see.

Am I wrong? I mean, all you need is a bridge, then it goes from one card and exits out the other.

You mean angled fittings as he will need fittings connecting the components regardless. Anyways the MCP35X can power through any restriction he puts in with angled fittings.

Track: When you get a second card you can get that EK FC Link (mostly for looks) or get another set of barbs and have a small piece of tubing between the card. Another option is a Bitspower crystal link set which is a little more money than the barbs. Don't worry about this until you get a second card.

Le Sigh.

It seems that the rumors are true and there's no point in watercooling a GTX 590, since it dies at anything above stock voltage.

I was thinking.. I could go to 1.0v or even 1.05v, but now I'm having SERIOUS second thoughts.

If I just buy another GTX 480 and watercool both, how high could I get them? I was planning on 1000Mhz on the GTX 590.

To be honest? I would completely give up on the GTX590, I simply don't like dual GPU cards since they tend to die too fast and I'm not even talking only about the GTX590.

Since you have so much money why don't you try using phase change on the 590?

Or better yet, go all out and get 2x 580s that you know can overclock well.

Are you saying that because I said I'd get two GTX 590s? I only meant that EVENTUALLY, as in when Kepler comes out, I'll get another 590 instead of a 680.

I've actually thought of Phase Change but realized it wouldn't even be able to handle 300w, even for the 1000$ unit (according to spec), making a chiller far better, although the need for ugly insulation.

But.. the problem with the GTX 590 is not lack of cooling. It's lack of VRM.
It doesn't matter if you use Liquid Helium.. the card will still fry.
