That is interesting that you are only getting 150mb/s rate. When I installed a Vertex II on the ole laptop that is the same rate I get with harddrive tune, however if I did the benchmark testing it went all the way up to 275 MB/S perhaps it just the program.
Yea, one benchmark max write at 152mbs and then turn around to ATTO at write speeds in excess of 500mbs. Size matters and so do the programs that do the benchmarking for sure. It might also have to do with that compressible/uncompressible writes that make up the lacking speed difference in the within the sandforce controller. This is what I have read from the older sandforce drives.
