Corsair Obsidian 650D vs. Silverstone Fortress TF02

I'm between these two and money doesn't matter.
The Fortress has superb airflow, dunno about the other one.
The Obsidian seems a bit bigger and hdd cages are removable which is a plus for very long cards.
Both are good looking imo.

Never had the 650D, but I have the 800D. I've had and used the FT02 for roughly a year. It's a beautiful magnificently made case, BUT, it just felt too cramped in there... no space to work on to, well.. it's just cramped... The air cooling is superb though!

My advice will be go 650D, got lots of room, the cooling seems like it's up for it and in case you decide to well watercool or go crossfire, it'll do a better job than the FT02.

Long cards might be a problem for the FT02 6870 crossfire and im just close to touching the fan grills... longer than 6870's and i will have to remove the bottom fan grills...

Yeh.. Go 650D ^_^

just my

What are you trying to do with the system, OP? Are you looking to run long cards or just to have a good air cooled case?

If the current rumors are true that the 650D is much better at air cooling than its bigger brethren, then you should definitely go for it. It is cheaper, is better for water cooling, has better cable management, and looks much roomier on the interior than the Fortress.

I just realized that my case will sit on the left and therefore a left panel window is pointless as I won't be able to see it. I guess that finish this contest.

Thanks for the replies.
