BCCode: 124 on stock 1100T

Thread Starter
Greetings,
I have my system an AUTO for everything. Unfortunately I keep getting BSOD's. These can occur at idle and under load (prime95). I am running a stock heatsink until my CM 212+ arrives. I have attached some CPU-Z screen caps and the dump file. I've searched google and this forum and there doesn't seem to be a consensus to what causes this error. Some people say core voltage, NB voltage, RAM Voltage, or drivers. Core temperatures appear to be good, never going over 50C. If anyone has any advice (I'm assuming it will be voltage tweaking) please let me know what variable to alter and to what degree.
Thanks so much!
Smithers

Thanks for the response.
The ram is rated at 1.5V. It was 1.6V and I turned it down to match the manufacturer's spec.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233144
The same error occurred at 1.6V and 1.5V. Should I got higher than 1.6V?

try it at 1.65volts and see if it goes away..if not...you might need more votlage on teh cpu-nb...try setting it at 1.2volts to 1.25volts...if not...then maybe you need more votage to the cpu...if that desont work...rma time...either the rams or the motherboard. check the rams first...and then if anythign..its the motherboard. before then of those things i mention...did you update all the lastest drivers? bios...nivida drivers? update all windows update?

Thanks. I'll start upping voltages. I have everything updated except for the MB bios. I haven't check on that yet. Is there a definitive test I can run to check the RAM?

Usually the 124 bsod code is coused low voltage. And usually the cpu. I Would have tried to set the vcore manually to specs. Not sure what it is on the 1100 but U will have no prob finding out(google). Try upping the vcore first and then the cpu-nb. But as sleeper wrote might be a bad chip

EDIT: ram testing can be done with memtest, other then that U need to use prime, linx or ibt set to max for mem testing.

Thanks for the help. I google'd the spec but only found ranges; in this case 1.0V-1.475V (Newegg, cpu-world.com, etc). Is there a better place I should be searching?
Thanks so much!
