External Display 16:10 Ratio while Internal 16:9

Hi OC'ers..
I've been trying the last three days to make my LCD Benq 19 (1400x900 max res) inch screen work as a secondary display, the problem is i can't have a different aspect ratio on my internal (1600x900 res) and external, displays..
My rig is on my sig and i'm using the catalysts 11.12
Is there any way to have this result :
Internal LCD : 1600x900 and External : 1400x900
Thanks

There sure is, but I don't know catalyst software.

Did you try just using Windows Display?

windows display manager always try to make the screen number 2 as a "prolongation" of the first.. which gives (1400+1280)x800 etc... which leads the problem of differents aspects ratios
