Should I stepup 570 to 580

Thread Starter
Should I step up the cost would be. $208 to step up from 570 to 580. Its temping cause of the problems with the 570's. I plan to put both my cards under water soon. They are both eligable for step up. Doesn't seem worth extra $400 for 580. Let me know what you think what would you do ?

Not worth it @ 1080p. (the additional vram would help with a multi display setup, but you'll be fine with a single monitor)

A waterblock will help with vram cooling...just don't disable OCP and shoot for crazy overclocks (even with ocp enabled)

I wouldn't...save that for next year upgrade or so... smile.gif

$200 for both cards or for each ?

If it's $200 for both I say do it.

what problems are you having? the 580 will most likely not be a big enough of a difference to warrant 200$.
