Nothing is stopping you from finding out.

Worst case scenario you are a bit limited with how much you can push it.

From what I just read (briefly) It could be quite nice to over-clock

Do you mean the auto overclock features? I'm not familiar with the board.

I use software overclocking to arrive at a quick and dirty number, but it is generally a good idea to overclock by the BIOS.

most new ones you push and hold the DEL button after your computer posts (beeps) it will prompted you. Just hold it until bios comes up.

your going to have to manually test different settings in your bios. Up your FSB alittle at a time run IntelBurnTest (google and download), when it fails up your voltage a notch. run test again. I'm not sure on your max voltages and temps. so you should find that out first and stay within those limits. The more volts you use the more your temps will climb. You also need to download Prime95, this is a stress testing software for your cpu. When your able to run this for at least 4-5 hrs. (with no errors or failures) then you can say it is fully stable at that clock speed. Keep your HT link at around 2000 this will help keep your stability. Only adjust 1 thing at a time so you know what made your test fail (ie. don't oc your ram and cpu at same time). Keep your ram speed below what is rated for. There are a ton of threads and posts about over-clocking your processor on this website, just do a search at the top of this page, for your processor and read away.
