By the way, you mentioned you arrived home with the boxes at your door - the mail company leaves them there just like that ? What if someone steals them ? Who is responsible ? In my country that would never happen. If nobody is at home the mailman will write a notice and put it in the mailbox telling me to pick up the package at the station later that day (normally after 16:00).

Another question, why does the thread have a 56k limit message on top? What does that mean ? I've seen it on other threads but since none seemed to interest me, this is the first time I ask

I live in a very small community. The mail lady speaks with us personally and we consider her a friend. Fedex and UPS know me very well too. But what you can't see in the picture is that we also have security cameras up on our property

Plus being teachers (and everyone in our community knows we are), most people merely assume that we are having education material delivered (which we quite regularly do all throughout the year). So to find out what is valuable versus not valuable, a thief would have to look at more boxes that were not rather than where.

Also 56k warning is a geeky joke about 56k modems. Basically saying if you suffer from dial up speed you might want to avoid a thread that is heavy on images.

Oh, I see, that's another story then!

Thanks for the 56k explanation! Rep+ That thought crossed my mind, but since 56k is so far behind in the times I didn't really consider it as the real reason hehehe. I used to have a 56k dial-up connection until 2003, and the internet was really a seldomly visited place back then LOLOL Now I'm on 24Mbps Fiber Optics, so I'm all well with this thread

Thanks! This is my first build log, so doing my best to document as much as possible with pictures since usually I get too excited to take pictures until AFTER it is all done hehehe. Can't wait to see what you do once you get your hands on your M8!

Updated First post!

Came home from a LATE and long day just now to find me two new presents my wife had dragged inside the kitchen...

The one from Germany was making me giddy with anticipation!

So it was the first one I opened...and the gummy bears weren't the sweetest item in the box

OM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM! 24 AP-15's! Around 16-18 or so will be a part of this build...haven't decided on the final number until I can get them in the case and hooked up to the fan controller

But that wasn't even the best part of the unboxing! a pair of XSPC RX480's and a couple feet of solid white Primoflex!

Can't wait for the case - starting to run out of room for accessories

No April Fools joke here! The mail lady left me some very well crafted watercooling gear. By appearance alone the IandH res is stunning... but holding it and checking out the parts at such a close distance just left me in awe at how solid this item is and well put together - I would suggest this piece of kit in a heartbeat!

First up was what showed up. A brand new Apogee XT ver.2 Block - I love the mounting system and the look so decided to get a new one for the new loop Also in this picture are the EK DDC Ex-Tops V2 for my MCP 350's and an IandH 175 Stealthres complete with fittings, clamps, plugs and barbs that were tossed in free!

I was so impressed I took a few extra shots of the res!

*Help?* This is my first non bay reservoir. I realize traditionally the two holes next to each other on bottom are the inlet and outlet for flow in the loop. But is using one of those as inlet and the hole on the bottom for outlet ok or is there some adverse effect in using that as an outlet? Like for example is that hole there mainly for drain line etc? Found my answer in another WC thread - answer is yes - tis ok!

Also edited the first post - added timeline formatting and spoiler tags to hide the large mess of pictures since I expect to errrm do a lot of pictures

No doubt! Hopefully I can manage to get this rig up and running for the Chimp Challenge though! Having a 9 month old daughter and being a teacher make it hard to get hobby time in.

It's coming! It's coming!!!

Also the mail lady dropped of some more FrozenCPU product.

3pin to x4 3pin Y cables, some more QDC's, and a mess load of assorted Bitspower compression fittings.

*Edit* - changed all pictures to be hidden in [spoiler] tags to reduce the amount of downloading when pages are opened.
