MH10 #1 - King Kong ain't got___ on me!! [56k Death!] - Page 12

Still can't decide. M10 or T10 for my rig. Space is not an issue and I will be running two loops. I have two res/pump xspc. So I am thinking I will need more space up front for the res

Well the T10 is the same length as the M10in terms of depth from front to back but it is taller.

If you really want extra room up front you would want an MH10 or a TH10 case which is longer from front to back (more case depth) and would provide you more gear space or rad space. This is what worked out for me as it allowed the extra room to have reservoir and pumps on the same side as motherboard due to the extra space.

On that note - the build log is not dead... just dead in the water. First it started with the Bloodrage that I had which would boot into bios and then freeze whenever I attempted to setup RAID. Since that is an integral part of my build I had to scrap that setup and figure out what was next...

So then I planned on going Bulldozer and waiting a bit... we all know how that turned out So until then I merely transplanted my current p55-GD80 and i7 875K into the build. (This is currently working for now off one single hard drive as it was meant to be a temporary solution).

In the process of waiting I landed a 2600K out of a trade and then purchased a Z68 board... well my saga continues of unfinished builds because I couldn't get that board to boot either (or at least work the way it is intended) http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...l#post13750521

So for the moment I am doing nothing but troubleshooting to figure out what to do and when I will finally get the log completed!

The only bonus is that the removable motherboard tray and it's sturdiness coupled with the Koolance Quick Disconnects has made all these gremlins somewhat bearable!

are you sure you didn't leave the extra motherboard standoffs on the tray, underneath the board so they are touching the board and shorting it out?

[dont laugh] it took me two days to figure out that was my my board wouldn't boot, and someone else had the same problem. removed those, everything worked.

Yea, took them all off when I installed the current mobo that is working. The new mobo uses the exact same standoff pattern (even then I removed it 2 separate times just to make sure I wasn't shorting it).
