How about the new 2TB Seagate Barracuda Green Hard Drive with the SATA-6Gb interface, aka ST2000DL003. Only 5900RPM but it actually outperforms most 7200RPM drives out there. Only $79.99 on the Egg and TigerDirect sites, not bad for 2TB.

Nearly 150MB/s in seq read/write. Not bad for a HDD.

But it's a Seagate and that means it's reliability is in question. My Hitachi 7K2000's perform just as well and are a LOT more reliable.
