Northbridge Heatsink Mounting

Alrighty I had a question for anyone who has mounted a heatsink on their northbridge chip (preferebly with a fan as well). I normally wouldn't hesitate buying an aftermarket heatsink/fan and replace the stock one on the NB.

But the problem I am facing is I have an GA-890GPA-UD3H (rev. 2.1) and the NB and Mosfet (I think) are linked on a heatpipe.

So I am curious if anyone has this motherboard or anyone with a similar problem and how they would get an aftermarket heatsink to mount on it. The northbridge is I believe the one that says "Gigabyte" on it. Any ideas will be much appreciated!

If you replace the NB stock heatsink, you will need to replace the Mosfet stock one as well because the 2 stock heatsinks are linked by the heatpipe.

Thanks for the link! Hmm I may just leave it alone because I remember stumbling across a thread recently that peoples Mosfets where exploding when they were using aftermarket heatsinks on them. Hmmmm
