I cant figure this out for the life of me and its pissing me off lol, ive reseated the block 4 times already no difference in temps, what im running is XSPC Raz 240 my temps are getting way too high to where my pc is shutting off while im gaming its sitting at about 40 idle, ambient temp is warm my room hits about 75F usually from all the electronics, I dont think its the PSU could be wrong I looked in the bios to see if there is a cut off where it shuts off after certain temp didn't see anything. heres my specs...

1055T X6 3.5 1.38 volts
MSI NF750-G55
GTX 460
XSPC Raz 240
And 5 Fans

thats all im running 600 I would think should be more then enough, any ideas are much appreciated

I don't have watercooling, but I've collected some knowledge about it over time. Are you sure you're applying the TIM correctly? Not caking it all over the CPU? I prefer to do a single uncooked rice dot as a TIM method, and then have the heatsink spread it.

Also, I know you have to make sure you don't have air bubbles, and if you do, shut down, and then shake the computer back and forth for a little bit until the air bubbles disappear.

Im good on the amount of compound that im sure of, got all the air out of the lines too, its tough the block screws are spring loaded I have them tight to where the block doesnt slide around when u try to move it

Do you have air in your loop? That will take a little time to get out plus you bleeding it.
Let the TIM spread itself on the CPU. I prefer the " X " with an overlapping " + ".

BTW, do you have the RS rad or the RX rad..?? And what fans..?? I doubt that is the problem though.

Well I just ran prime for 45 min hit a max of 52 on load and dint shut down so I dont think heat is causin the problem, I think its the PSU thats causing shut downs during game. Regardless my temps seem way high to me. I ordered new fans they should be here tomorrow got the yate loons, also got new tubing so gonna swap all that out and just run distilled water and see if that helps, what I did when I aplied the TIM i used arctic 5 and people say put a little amount like less then a pea and spread it on there so its a thin coat all over thats what i did

Let the block spread the TIM on it's own.
