I'm a Deneb user, and I'm going to be skipping AM3+. When PCIe 3.0 comes out and we start using DDR4, I might consider upgrading (what I assume will be AM4), but other than that, I can't really see a great benefit for upgrading on a gaming machine, when the only game that is limited by my processor is starcraft 2 (at times).

As it is, I can overclock to 4Ghz stable if I need to, but generally an AMD quad running at 3.8 Ghz will max just about any game at 40+ fps - which is all I need, and probably will be all I need for quite some time.

Since I got my processor only a little over a year ago and I'm going to be a broke college student soon, I'm going to stick with my current cpu. I might upgrade in a year or so if BD is considerably better than Thuban and prices drop a little, but we'll see.

Not decided yet. Whichever is stronger between Sandy Bridge and Dozer is what I'll be going with. Intel is seeming more enticing anyway just for the disk controller.

I'm going to pass on Bulldozer for now as I currently am a broke college student (and one who just blew half his tax refund on his current build.)

I'll keep my Thubey until BDr2 is released with a brand new socket, DDR4 quadchannel support (hopefully), and a loe power version is released (like the Thuban 95W TDP versions), so I have quite a lot of headroom.

This time I'll get a BE chip, it gives much more freedom in terms of extreme OCing.
