Thread Starter
With recent information released regarding Bulldozer's compatibility with current AM3 boards, gonna give this thread a bump to see who else is still going to be skipping.

Have had my 1055t at 4.0 for around 10months now, flies through whatever i throw at it. If we are benchmarking there are better options, but day to day i dont feel i will notice enough of an increase.

I shift to Intel .
I'm going to wait and check out clock-for-clock performance between the two. If it's a big enough improvement, I'll swap (mobo supports BD). If not, I'm keeping my 1055t.

Possibly, if Bulldozer isnt up to par or too expensive, I'm dying to try Sandy Bridge. May try it regardless. Then Bulldozer later.

i am more than happy with my x6 at 4.2ghz, i see no real pressure to go for new cpu, but... If it beats i7 2600k its a must have, after 10 years being more than loyal to AMD i think that if they finaly have something to beat Intel i'll be thrilled to have that in my machine

Had a 1055T in my second computer but downgraded to a Athlon II 635 just before the 1055T dropped $50. Felt bad for the guy on ebay, literally 2 days after the auction ended the brand new price dropped below what he paid for my used, without HSF... But me... I'll transfer the 1090T to my 2nd computer, sell this baby with the Athlon in it and a new BD PC build is coming for me. Plan to pair it with dual 6950's unlocked to 70's. Will be sweet.

Actually, I should add that another thing I'd be interested in is the TDP of Bulldozer. I'm severely limited in OCing on my motherboard because of the MOSFET issues, and how all mATX motherboards use a 4+1 phase system. If Bulldozer CPUs don't use as much power, I might grab one for higher OCing headroom.
