Thinking about buying a system & would like some advice

Thread Starter

I want a good gaming pc & I don't feel like building one myself. I found this one on Amazon and it looks pretty new but I've never heard of the company.

I also checked out their website www.rocksolidsystem.net and they look legit. I e-mailed them and got a response right away. Apparantly they are a new company, but the guy I spoke with really seemed to know what he was talking about. I'm debating if I should buy this or let them design a custom one for me.I bought an iBuyPower awhile back and I wasn't that happy with it so I'm trying to find a better gaming system and this one fits my budget. Any advice?

just build the computer yourself, you can build a much better rig if you do it yourself.

what is the computer in your sig? a dream computer?

I don't know about the company, but $1500 seems a bit much for that computer.

$800-900 can build a very similar machine
and windows isnt included?

You can totally build your own. I had no experience and it took me no time to get my system together. Of course, I did forget to plug in the power to the CPU. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that it took me a while to figure it out...

It's cheaper, and fun, and you can customize everything to be exactly how you want it. Makes it more personal.

It comes with windows. I priced everything out and it comes out to be a little over 1200 if I bought everything individually. The motherboard is $214, CPU $200, GPU $270. Windows $100, PSU $100, RAM $90, SSD $190 and HDD $89

OK Guys, I'm kind of busted here. I forgot about my sig rig showing up. I know the guy who owns this company and I was trying to do a little advertising for him. I built my own system with his help so I figured I'd try to help him out a little.
