AHCI before or after Windows 7 Install?

And was a little confused by it, should I turn AHCI on before or after installing windows onto my SSD, oh and the ssd i'm using is a G.SKILL Phoenix (Sandforce 1200).

Before. It no likey switch after IDE installation (you'll crash on loading).

Definitely before. The Windows install will automatically make the changes needed for IDE to AHCI after an install.

I find it interesting that apparently, many people are just now using AHCI for the first time with a SSD.
