an i gotta agree hardcore mode was fun on PS3
No worries, I always hate getting a half-assed reply myself lol. As posted by others, new maps/weapons, same class concept. Keep in mind with BFBC2, games can run fairly long (30ish+ mins give or take) as opposed to CoD 10 minutes. Never played it on the PS3. Living in Japan for two years, while MW2 came out ruined console FPS for me...WAY to much lag when trying to play with friends that were stateside. The Vietnam expansion is pretty cool, I haven't played it too much since I've had other games to play.

And you will most likely get eaten alive for a while when you are first starting out (my buddy who is absolutely nasty at Black OPs, usually going 30/4, got REEMED his first week playing when I loaned him my copy to try). But overall it is a lot of fun. The graphics are slightly outdated by todays standards it seems, but it is still a very good looking game. I was able to max out the graphics with 2x 5770 in CrossFire no problem, so its not too demanding. Also, the Vietnam expansion that came out for it is pretty fun (I think you can get the bundle for like $25 on Steam, so I reccomend that). Its slightly more run and gun in comparison to regular BFBC2, which is more sniper friendly. In terms of Shogun 2, I've only had a chance to play it for a couple hours, barely, mostly doing the tutorial and a little bit of the campaign. Seems like a lot of fun, but I am more of a Starcraft 2 person. I want to play it some more, but simply haven't had the time. Wish I had been patient and waited for the price to go down a little bit.
This. It may sound self absorbed, but in MW2 and Black Ops I'm incredible, but I just bought BC2 and I'm lucky if I get 2 kills every game. It's really difficult, but I feel that if you get the hang of it you'll be pretty unstoppable.
