Overclock causes stuck keys

Thread Starter
I have a x58a ud3r with an i7 920 overclocked to 3.8ghz. (21x 181, 1.23v)
Runs at 51c-56c on medium load, pretty comfortable with its stability.

However, sometimes when playing games one of the awsd or some other key will get stuck. This only happens when I overclock.

I've tried tweaking the cpu vcore up, qpi from auto to 32x, uncore from auto to 16x, dram underclocking, using dram auto profile settings.

I'm not really sure what else to do.

Anyone have advice on what else to try, or might it just be the keyboard that doesn't handle overclocks well? I could try lowering the clock, but I'd hate to be defeated by a cheesy keyboard problem. Also, it's an Microsoft Natural Keyboard 4000.

It sounds like your USB controller is becoming unstable. If the USB ports you are using the keyboard with are controlled by the chipset, then it might be that your chipset isn't stable. Try bumping up your chipset voltages a notch.

(Please note: I don't have ANY experience with the X58 platform )
