Puretrak Talent or QcK Heavy?

Thread Starter
My old pad ALLSOP XL is starting fray and I know its time to give it up now. It has lasted me over 4 years, and has done me well.

I am looking for a large cloth pad and I have brought it down to these two choices. Looking for a smooth and consistent surface, yet has some friction so I can stop on a dime, and not have jitters.

I play very low sens, and I would like only comments from people who play at competitive level of fps gaming.

BTW: I am using DA 3.5g

The Qck has friction closer to the Raindrop XL.

I'd describe the talent as a middle of the road pad between speed and control. Lift off is also higher.

I have tried both mousepads, but I have to say PureTrak Talent outclass Heavy (this is my subjective opinion though) =)

I feel I have more control and speed while using Talent.

i've went onto the puretrak website, and I tried buying the talent, but it keeps on saying my biling postal code is incorrect, when it isn't. I also submitted a help request on their website, but it says it will take 72 hrs to get back to me. SO F that ****.

I think I am gonna go buy for the QcK heavy now @ the SS store, where i know my credit card works

Available on Ebay. That's where I got mine, primarily because a friend of mine had bad shipping service directly from Puretrak.

I've got a standard QcK and while it isn't the thickest mousepad it does work great with my DA 3.5G.

I went from a Razer Goliathus and honestly I haven't looked back yet. Actually ended up giving it to my cousin after seeing how much I like the QcK.

The heavy I can only imagine will be an even better variation of the QcK standard.

Never tried the Puretrak Talent though. thinking.gif

Yep, I ordered mine on PureTrak website and it arrived about 2 weeks later although I chose the 5-8 days shipping standard.

It's better to buy it on eBay.

Talent is uncontested the best cloth pad on the market. However, if the Talent is a perfect 10 the QcK Heavy is about a 9 so it's not that significant of a difference.
